Lubricating grease for metal/metal combinations with slow to medium-fast movements especially with high loads.

Key Properties

NLGI Grade 2 - MO based grease with a base oil viscosity of 265 cSt at 40 C, lithium thickened, uses both molybdenum disulfide and graphite as solid lubricants.

Applications

Molykote Longterm 2 Plus Extreme Pressure Bearing Grease is used successfully for bearings, spline profiles and clutches in highly stressed motor vehicles, tractors, cranes, earth-moving machines, conveyor belts and forklift trucks. Also suitable for yaw and pitch bearings including those in wind turbines. It is most effective where there is a risk of fretting corrosion, groove formation (Brinell effect) or moisture.
