The scarf of Europe was born in the knight culture. The cavalry was reloaded with a scarf between the cold armor and the neck, and the part outside the armor fluttered backwards with the wind. There was a hint of carefreeness and pride. During the First World War period, scarves became an integral part of military dress: a thick wool scarf kept the soldiers warm on cold mornings in Moscow, avoiding cold winds; a light linen scarf was available to the soldiers. Pass through the Sahara Desert to protect their skin from the scorching sun and sand.
