端基封尾和單體鍵合降低了不同批次色譜柱間的差異性。端基封尾硅羥基的所占比例比使用其他材料形成穩定鍵合相要大。端基封尾會因為水解而失效，但選擇性卻變化很小，因為封尾點所占整個固定相的比例很小。

奧泰 Adsorbosphere® CN-AQ 柱是氰基固定相，主要用于分離三環的抗抑郁藥（TCA’s）。

Adsorbosphere® HS 柱

Adsorbosphere ® HS 能耐腐蝕性的流動相。高密度鍵合到高表面積的球形硅膠上， C18 碳覆蓋率達到 20% 。這種不易被水浸潤的固定相保護了硅膠不會被腐蝕性流動相所破壞，如象離子對試劑和緩沖鹽，從而延長了柱子的使用壽命，對有機化合物有很高的選擇性。

Adsorbosphere ® UHS C18 柱是奧泰表面積zui大的載體（30% 碳覆蓋率），主要用于需要高分離的應用中，如象對結構類似的化合物的分離。這種例子包括多環芳烴的分離（EPA 法 610），對二氨基聯苯的分離（EPA 法 605），以及一些結構接近的化合物的分離，包括維生素 D2 、 D3 、 PTH 氨基酸和各種化學異構體的分離。
